The development of cleaning industry in China can be divided into three stages:Traditional cleaning,Modern cleaning and Contemporary cleaning.

Traditional cleaning has a rather long period,which starts from the birth of human beings,and continues until 1980s.This is mainly about bathing,laundry,house cleaning,foods cleaning,roughly sterilizing and some other traditional cleanings.So,you know,it hasn't become an industry at that time.

With the development of industrials and buildings in China,things began to change in 1980s.Compared with the industry being shaped in the western countries in the last 30s,we are half a century left.Therefor,we have a lot to learn from the western.The emergences of few industrial and building cleaning companies stand for the start of this era.In this stage,the cleaning industry in China came into being,but it's small,low-tech and lack of regulations.At the end of this phase,there emerged lots of cleaning companies.

Walking into the 21st century,things have become better,more and more foreign brands begin to enter China and some self-owned brands begin to be established.Besides, Cleaning-targeted medias,products tradings,,academic conferences,training&counseling agencies are booming,cleaning industry regulations and new-tech are also made and brought.However,we also some challenges too,especially how to realize green and hygiene cleaning,and publicizing how the industry can improve the way we live and produce.

It is said that US is the largest cleaning market in the world,Germany the second.I don't know the position of China,maybe we can do a global cleaning market research.But according to some resources,the cleaning market in China is about 320 billion yuan,which is mainly about civic cleaning industry,and the workers in this industry is roughly about 20 million,that's a huge number.
